Even though French Canadian Alt rockers Empreinte Galactique are currently in a hiatus, guitarist/vocalsist Rami Renno told YakMusic that the various members of the band have been keeping themselves extremely busy with other projects.
"Although we've been talking about playing a couple of gigs with Empreinte Galactique in 2013...so watch this space" he added.
Meanwhile Rami has started a project with his Empreinte Galactique bandmates Daniel Lemay (guitarist), Carl Vaudrin (Keyboard) called Renzo!! producing gems such as Crown looking for Ground and Win Again.

Rami has also joined long time friend JeanMichel Renaud, (songwriter and multi-instrumentalist) and Pete Petelle (drums) to play bass in an acoustic band called East Road.
It's music many have described "simple, touching music which brings us all back to basics" and "it's music is inspired by the sea, travel and high winds, and is a real spring sound."
Their performances have been part of the Quebec music scene for a little over a year now. The group received the Microsonic 2012 award and on October 2012, they launched their first album. A blend of folk, inspiring energy and passionate musicians… East Road is destined to forge its place in the music world.
